Our Location

The Wallace Cottage is situated in the heart of the Historic market town of Lanark. From its location you can see the church bell of St Nicolas’ in all its splendour, particularly gorgeous during the evening when it’s all lit up. It is believed to be one of the oldest church bells in the world. The church is situated at the bottom of the high street, and houses an 8 foot statue of William Wallace in the steeple.

The William Wallace garden created in 2004 is situated in front of the cottage to the right. The community designed oak totem pole and planters within the garden were erected to commemorate William Wallace.
